Hope everyone is having a wonderful day! One of my favorite beauty products in the entire world has to be any type of lip product! That includes lip oils, lip stains, lipsticks, lip liner etc… For some reason when I put on a lip product I just feel a certain type of way. Even if I am wearing no makeup I feel like as long as I have some lip product on I feel a little bit more put together. I love many different brands however one brand I have RAVED about over and over again is NYX Professional Makeup or NYX Cosmetics.
There is a few reasons why I LOVE NYX Cosmetics so much:
1.) The products are affordable- I don’t know one single person who wouldn’t want to get a an amazing product for a good deal. NYX lip products tend to range from $5 to $16 so the price tag
2.) NYX is a cruelty- free brand and products have a vegan formula!
3.) The products actually rock! The old saying you get what you pay for doesn’t apply when it comes to NYX. In fact I have found some the the lip products to be better than super expensive designer cosmetics.
4.) NYX is available anywhere from Amazon to CVS.
One thing you will notice in all of my articles is if the product are worth it I will pay for it, however if I can stick with a product that is incredible budget friendly that makes me so happy. We all know how expensive everything is so the fact that I can get multiple colors in these lip products and still stay within the price of one SUPER expensive brand lip product makes me so happy!
So after years of wearing all of the NYX lip products I have rounded up the best NYX lipsticks and the reasons why they are hidden gems.
1.) NYX FAT OIL LIP DRIP
Starting off the list with the newest and one of the most hyped lip products on the market. NYX recently dropped this product and I couldn’t be happier. This lip oil heavily competes with other lip oils like the highly sought after Clarins and Dior lip oils but a fraction of the price. This non sticky lip oil gives the perfect shine and because it’s infused with vegan squalene, raspberry oil, and cloudberry oil that provides 12 hours of hydration and protection. So for all the moms constantly kissing boo boos and faces this is the perfect lip oil for you! I have also noticed I reach for this lip product the most just due to the fact that I have dry lips so having that hydration is KEY! It is also is so easy to put on thanks to the beautiful larger doe-foot applicator. This lip oil has nine shades for all skin tones! My favorite as of right now is the shade “Missed Call“. It’s the perfect light pink. I also want to point out that because it gives my lips more hydration and shine it also gives the appearance of fuller-looking lips.
2.)NYX SHINE LOUD
If you have ever read any of my articles or seen my lives before there was a time where I wore this lipstick almost every day. This product became a Tik Tok famous product and won beauty awards for a good reason. Once you put this product on and let it dry it stays on your lips for around 16 hours without transferring. If you apply it correctly, you can eat, drink, kiss sweet little baby cheeks without losing the lip color! As you can see in the picture this particular lipstick has a double sided tube. The first step is to apply the base coat or lip color. Once you apply that you want to let it dry down. I tend to do two coats of the lip color to really make it stand out. Then you are going to apply the top coast to lock in that color. I also let this dry down.
The only issue with Shine Loud is because the lipstick is suppose to remain shiny however it doesn’t. It tends to have more a matte formula however I could care less! My lips look incredible and the formula stays! There is also a variety of different colors including nude colors and at this incredible price point you can own them all!
3.) NYX Lingerie XXL Matte Liquid Lipstick
This was the first NYX lipstick I bought. I really wanted to try a matte lip color but didn’t want to pay a hefty price tag so I ended up buying the NYX Lingerie XXL Matte. Once I put this gorgeous lipstick on and noticed the smooth matte finish and staying power I immediately bought more! Like the shine loud this product lasts for the whole day without budging, fading, etc… I haven’t done an experiment to see how long it really stays on but the claims of 16 hour wear are not far off. This product really speaks for itself and the color selection is amazing! Again, because of the price point I feel super comfortable buying even the fun colors even if I only wear it once.
4.) NYX BUTTER GLOSS
Last but certainly not least is the NYX butter gloss. I can’t do an article about lip colors without including a gloss! This is a bit different of a texture than the lip oil. It gives the lips more of a smooth buttery finish that is non-sticky! It’s the perfect gloss to wear by itself or over another lip color. I always have one of the butter gloss colors in my purses or makeup bag. I highly recommend the color Tiramisu.
